Making meaningful changes in life can be difficult. We tend to stick to what’s familiar, sometimes leaving us stuck in places we no longer want to be. The path towards healing and growth can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing. I believe that often, the answer is already within us, but we may need guidance to view life through a new lens. I’d like to walk with you on your journey of expansion. I am here to help you access your potential and develop the tools you need to have more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.

I am a graduate of Azusa Pacific University’s M.A. in Clinical Psychology program with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I work from a psychodynamic and trauma-informed lens, as I believe that long-lasting change requires understanding and healing from our pasts. As a humanistic therapist, I also believe that you are the best expert on yourself, and as such, I take a non-judgmental and collaborative approach in the therapeutic process.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and am interested in working with individuals struggling with anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, life direction, trauma, and issues surrounding sex and/or gender. As a Gottman Level 1 certified therapist, I also work with couples and have a special interest in working with premarital couples seeking to improve their relationship and build a strong foundation for a lifelong partnership.

Everyone has the innate tendency to seek wellbeing. However, there are times in our lives when we get stuck on our journeys toward growth. We get caught in the storm of life and often don’t know how we got there. In the chaos, we struggle to find a way out because we continue to use old ways of being that no longer serve us. The truth is, everyone has the capacity to heal – we may just need someone on the outside to help us along the way.

Therapy can be the beacon of light through which you find your way out of the storm. Together, we can explore your past to gain perspective, access your existing resources, and develop new skills. I believe that this work will empower you to lead your life with greater intention so that you may live a purpose filled life and develop healthier relationships with others and yourself.

As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I have experience working with queer and trans individuals. I work with individuals struggling with self- esteem and identity exploration, anxiety and depression, life transitions, and spiritual exploration. I am Gottman Level 1 certified and work with couples struggling with communication and boundary issues.

Seeking therapy is often a very difficult decision to make, but a brave and probably necessary one. I am here to make you feel safe and confident that it was the right decision. Therapy works to help resolve issues that affect virtually every facet of our lives. However, it is common for individuals to be unacquainted with much of their own inner worlds that drive and influence them on a moment-to-moment basis. My passion, as you'll find, is to explore that inner world, and help piece a scattered puzzle together to make a clear and beautiful picture of the individual in the context of their life and relationships.

I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy with an approach that is heavily rooted in a psychodynamic and trauma-informed framework. As such, I collaboratively work with clients to identify the issues that have become problematic in their lives and relationships and help them to understand and address the deep-rooted causes and their implications.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have an inherent drive to provide affirming care to those who are processing their sexual and/or gender identities, and implications that come along with being a part of marginalized communities. I am also Gottman Level 1 trained, and provide counseling to couples of all identities and lifestyles. I am generally eager and passionate about the practice of clinical psychology, yet bring a calm, curious, and empathic presence to sessions.
