How long is a session?
A typical therapy session is between 50-55 minutes long. It is standard to meet weekly, particularly at the onset of therapy. However, some clients desire to meet more or less frequently. We can discuss a schedule that will work best for you.
How many sessions will I need?
Therapy is a unique and personal journey. The number of sessions is determined by your individual needs and goals for therapy. Some concerns can be addressed in a few sessions and others over the course of multiple years.
Are you seeing clients in person or via telehealth during the Covid-19 pandemic?
I am seeing clients in person with specific safety measures and protocols and via telehealth (Zoom) at this time.
How do I determine if we will work well together?
I firmly believe that finding a good fit for a therapist is an essential component of the therapeutic journey and it’s outcome. Please contact me (phone/email) about setting up an initial consultation to determine whether you feel like I would be a good fit for you.
What is the session fee?
My standard fee is $160 for a 50-55 minute session. I understand that therapy is both an emotional and a financial investment and that often-financial limitations can inhibit one from seeking therapy. Depending on availability, I offer reduced fees to help assist in the process. Please contact me to discuss your individual circumstances.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions must be canceled 24 hours in advance, otherwise full payment is expected.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check, or credit card.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an Out of Network provider and can accept PPO Insurances that have “Out of Network” benefits/coverage. Prior to our first appointment, I will help determine what your coverage is for out of network providers so that there are no surprises. There is no need to self-submit your claims. I will bill your insurance company on your behalf.
Where is your office located and how do you know when I have arrived?
I have two office locations. The first is located at 482 N. Rosemead Blvd., Suite 207, Pasadena, 91107 and the second office is located at 850 Colorado Blvd., Suite 202, Los Angeles, 90041.
Where do I park?
Pasadena Location: There is a parking lot available. You may park in any of the spots labeled Guest, BHHS Golden, or Sync. Eagle Rock Location: There is ample street parking on Colorado Blvd. adjacent to the office building. (Free of charge)
