About Me
“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do”

Kelly Aguirre, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT#93109. My private practice is located in East Pasadena. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University and a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. I received the Clinical Excellence award in 2014 from Azusa Pacific University and have ten years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
During my training and clinical internship, I worked with a population of adults, children/adolescents, couples, and families struggling with an array of presenting concerns. With a focus on professional and clinical development, I developed the skills necessary to develop a strong therapeutic relationship that ultimately lead to healing, growth, and helping individuals and families get “unstuck”.
I have a clinical interest and advanced experience supporting maternal mental health including pregnancy, miscarriage, infertility, peri-natal / post-partum depression and anxiety, and the delicate balance between motherhood and individuality. I also have a clinical interest in supporting those who struggle with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors such as Trichotillomania.
I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA). I am also a facilitator of Prepare/Enrich, a program designed to strengthen premarital and marital relationships.
Outside of my private practice, I serve as the Director of Training for Fuller Psychological and Family Services. I am also a wife and mother to my amazing son and daughter.
