About Me

“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do”

— Brene Brown —

Kelly Aguirre, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT#93109. My practice is located in Eagle Rock, California right on the border of Pasadena near the Historic Colorado Street Bridge. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University and a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. I received the Clinical Excellence award in 2014 from Azusa Pacific University and have eight years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

During my training and clinical internship, I worked with a population of adults, children/adolescents, couples, and families struggling with an array of presenting concerns. With a focus on professional and clinical development, I developed the skills necessary to develop a strong therapeutic relationship that ultimately lead to healing, growth, and helping individuals and families get “unstuck”.

I have a clinical interest and advanced experience supporting maternal mental health including pregnancy, miscarriage, infertility, peri-natal / post-partum depression and anxiety, and the delicate balance between motherhood and individuality. I also have a clinical interest in supporting those who struggle with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors such as Trichotillomania.

I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA). I am also a facilitator of Prepare/Enrich, a program designed to strengthen premarital and marital relationships.
